Nicky’s friend Kyra Griffith treated us to a wonderful lunch at this beautiful open and airy restaurant. This is a place we would normally avoid due to budgetary constraints, but we were happy to have someone indulge us – thanks Kyra! We shared a platter of sashimi and maki, edamame, and miso soup and all were fresh and tasty. Situated in a beautiful courtyard-like area of Pasadena, Sushi Roku was full of ambience and delivered some of the better sushi we’ve had in California.
