Maplecroft B&B

Notes:

Operated by the very friendly and hospitable Paul Heller and Marianne Kotch, Maplecroft B&B was a wonderful place to stay during our time in Barre. Paul’s collection of old magic posters and passion for banjos were infectious, and his open invitation to borrow the household’s books, much appreciated. We spent a memorable afternoon arranging a tune in the living room (Gord Downie’s “Trick Rider” for a lullaby album). We also ate delicious breakfast fare every morning and hung out with Paul and learned about Barre and its people. It was a great time.
