Indarra Bed & Breakfast

Notes:

Our time in St.Andrews was one of the most memorable periods of our tour to Australia. Driving to the B&B, we saw at least 100 kangaroos grazing on the beautiful hills of the area. The accomodations were beautiful, clean and well laid-out and the proprietors extremely friendly and hospitable. On our drive back to the B&B after our show, we understood what people meant when they said that kangaroos are the Australian equivalent of North American deer. All along the highway, our headlights caught the reflection of several kangaroo eyes at the side of the road and at one point, when a weak wireless signal caused us to stop to take advantage of this rare technological treat, we watched as about eight kangaroos bounded back and forth in front of the car. We also managed to snag a peek at a wombat at the side of the road and then spent the next morning at the B&B hanging out with the farm animals. After that, we drove over to the magnificent local farmer’s market and strolled around sampling delicious chai and organic veggies and other culinary delights. What a fabulous time!
